Krystal Ball, Founder of People’s House Project, author and former MSNBC host, joined our hosts Carrie Sheffield and Clay Aiken to talk about how the Democratic party can take back the House in 2018. Her organization is trying rebuild the Democratic Party brand in Midwestern and Appalachian states, especially in districts that tend to only elect Republicans.
After learning about People’s House Project, Clay said, “We should not ignore a district just because it tends to vote one way all the time. Republicans should be making sure that their voices get heard in those dark blue districts and Democrats certainly need to be making sure that theirs are heard in the red ones too.”
Krystal, Carrie, and Clay also discussed whether or not there is a “witch hunt” out for President Donald Trump, controversies around Shakespeare In The Park, media bias, and the upcoming Georgia special election.
