On this segment of #AskOni with Oni Higgins, she answered questions about holiday celebrations, staying motivated in quarantine and more. If you’d like to ask a question, follow @BoldTV and feel free to submit them to any of our social media platforms!
Q: With the pandemic, will you spend the holidays with extended family or just those in your home?
A: I kind of did a mixture of both. I spent it with everyone who’s in my home. My grandmother did come over, but she also comes over every day to help out around the house as well. So it wasn’t anyone who hasn’t been in my house since the whole quarantine began.
Q: Fun quarantine ideas?
A: That’s a little bit tricky. I don’t know if anything I do is actually fun. I guess during the whole quarantine, I’ve begun to read a lot more. Also coming up with new business ideas and learning how to have the time to actually execute them. But I wouldn’t say that’s fun. It seems more so like work. But definitely reading for sure [and] playing dress up sometimes, too.
Q: What are some things that keep you motivated and uplifted during this pandemic?
A: For me, that’s more so keeping a schedule and getting into [the] schedule of things. Every morning, I wake up, I’ll read, I’ll go to my Bible app, pray and then get started on work. I think that that has definitely kept me grounded and uplifted, you know, through all the tough times that we’ve all been experiencing.
