You may remember Jerome Bell, a close friend of Bold TV co-host Clay Aiken, who suffered traumatic injuries from an accident last fall. Last week, Jerome underwent his last surgery, left the hospital and is now recovering in a rehabilitation facility!
For Thanksgiving last year, we asked you for a Bold gesture: A helpful donation to Jerome’s medical expenses. Jerome will continue to undergo rehabilitation in his recovery for at least the next few months. For Carrie Sheffield’s birthday on Feb. 15 (Happy birthday, Carrie!), we ask you again to consider donating to Jerome’s medical expenses.

Good news. Our man, Jerome, has had his last surgery for now. He's sitting on his own and is FINALLY (🙌🏻) out of the hospital and in a rehab facility!!! #praises The road ahead is still very long! To those who have been able to lend a hand already… Jerome and his family thank you so much. Lots of healing and life changes ahead. If you're inclined and moved to help him as he continues his fight… https://www.youcaring.com/jeromebell-702057 #jeromebell #healing #caring #rehab #lendahand #helpothers
Jerome was injured while working an event in Atlanta on Nov. 21, 2016. He was struck by a malfunctioning forklift and doctors were forced to amputate his leg. His first week in the hospital, Jerome underwent almost half a dozen surgeries. We’re so grateful that he is in recovery and doing well. Even though it’s been a while since his injury, we can’t forget Jerome still has a long ways to go and still needs all the support we can give him.
Last fall, Clay wrote:
Jerome’s survival from this awful accident is proof to me that God works miracles… Jerome has spent years of his life in the business of protecting others. He’s dedicated himself to putting others’ needs above his own. It hasn’t just been his job; it’s been his nature. We now have a chance to do a little bit to help protect him.
